Each student is an individual and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Each student is entitled to be assessed in their own strengths and weaknesses, in a way that provides for an opportunity to learn from past experiences. Each student must be encouraged to explore new challenges; must be counselled to set realistic, achievable goals for present and future career possibilities; must be afforded opportunities to ensure success. Never should a student be belittled or embarrassed because of their abilities and limitations.
